CHILDREN & TEEN SPECIFIC

Play Therapy Play is the natural language of children — it is how they make sense of the world, process their experiences, and express what they may not yet have words for. Play therapy provides children with a safe and structured space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through play, with the guidance of a trained therapist. Rather than expecting children to sit and talk like adults, play therapy meets them where they are developmentally. Through toys, games, art, and imaginative play, children can work through trauma, anxiety, behavioral challenges, grief, and more — often making significant progress in ways that feel natural and even enjoyable to them.

Art Therapy Art therapy uses the creative process as a therapeutic tool, allowing children, teens, and adults to express and explore emotions that may be difficult to put into words. You don't need to be artistic or talented to benefit from art therapy — the focus is on the process of creating, not the end product. Through drawing, painting, collage, and other creative modalities, art therapy can help clients process trauma, reduce anxiety, improve self-esteem, and gain insight into their inner world. For children and teens especially, art therapy can be a powerful and accessible way to engage in the therapeutic process.
